After all, Austin is also a booming college town that’s home to the University of Texas. Hook ‘em! 

The capital of the Lone Star State is widely regarded to be the live music capital of the world as well. In addition to numerous entertainment venues, Austin plays host to big festivals such as South by Southwest, attracting more than 2,200 musicians and 28,000 concertgoers. Known also as “Silicon Hills” the city is also a high-tech hub where the likes of IBM, Dell, Texas Instruments and Apple have set up operations. With everything from bat caves to food trucks to Formula One racing, there’s something here for everyone. 

Austin is situated amongst 14,000 square miles of scenic, rolling terrain known as the Hill Country. Nearby are several quaint, historic towns, along with more than two dozen vineyards – just perfect for day trips. Meanwhile, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport offers more then 350 flights daily anytime you need to get away. When it comes to an ideal location, it’s no wonder so many people find Austin, Texas the perfect place to be!

I quickly learned that quality and reputation are not the only things that set Scott Felder apart from the other builders I'd seen. Whereas another builder might offer options A,B,C for fixtures, flooring, countertops, etc, Scott Felder has literally hundreds of options for each and every aspect of the house, providing the customer with an experience typically only afforded to those building much more expensive custom homes. So, while I personally prefer more subtle design elements, a customer has all the options at their disposal to build a home that is truly reflective of their own style and personality. This customization, coupled with high quality construction, makes the whole process very exciting.
