Color Your Palate With Divine Dining Room Hues

May 26, 2016

Designing your dining room is anything but dull, especially today with the variety of colors and hues available on the market. And if you’ve decided to purchase a home in San Antonio, Scott Felder Homes has everything you need to create your own unique space for dining. Whether it’s bold and bright or soft and subtle, Scott Felder Homes can help you create your perfect dining room.

Bold and Bright

Nothing says San Antonio like bold and bright colors. While definitely a bold statement, strong colors like bright yellows, reds, oranges can illuminate your dining room – especially if the space has natural light. Why leave the spice for just the food? Go bold and daring with your walls and accents, too!

Soft and Subtle

For many, bold and bright may be a bit too much. Soft and subtle colors, however, are anything but boring. Light greens, blues, browns and mauves brighten your dining room, creating a soothing space perfect for any kind of dining experience.

Elegant and Classic

If you plan on using your dining room as a formal place for entertaining and eating, you may want to opt for classic and traditional hues. For example, deep chocolate shades create a dramatic tone and statement, perfect for elegant dinner parties and gatherings.

We lost our house in a fire just over a year ago. We are on an excellent 1 acre lot in Shady Hollow and really wanted to stay on the property in a nice home. We talked to several contractors, and nobody who was in our price range (insurance $) really inspired a ton of confidence, though there were one or two who we felt we could go with if SF Homes wasn't able to build a house for us on our lot. Turns out they did, and they did a spectacular job. We ended up with the Mendocino II plan and their builder did a meticulous, thorough, quality job throughout. From the first rate materials to the first rate subcontractors and the thoughtful planning by everyone involved, we ended up with a house which exceeded the quality and beauty of the house we lost to the fire.
